Course Objectives: Participants will be able to recognize warning signs, risk factors, and protective factors for suicidal ideation. Participants will be able to give examples of ways to ask a client if they are suicidal. Participants will be able to describe the different aspects of a suicide safety plan. Participants will be able to identify an evidence based assessment to better understands clients suicidal ideation and risk level.
