About
Laura Sanchez, LICSW, LADC
Hello! I am a licensed Therapist/Clinical Social Worker – here to guide you through life’s most complex and difficult matters. Since 2008, I have worked with families, teens, and children dealing with challenging life experiences. My work has included therapy, case management, and macro work focused on changing systems. I work together with my client to develop a treatment approach which best suits each individual.
I am trained in Trauma-Focused CBT, DBT for managing distressing emotions, Cognitive Processing Therapy for trauma, various addiction treatments, and EMDR. I also have further endorsement and education in treating problem gambling. My schooling influences me to take a systems approach to working with clients in which we look at all aspects of their current life to understand how each affects their current situation.
